The Goals of the Free(b)soft Laboratory project

The primary goal of this project is to help visually handicapped fellows to bear their uneasy destiny. This goal will be carried out by development, distribution, education and installation of specialized Free Software which enables visually impaired to use a computer as a powerful compensation aid. Figuratively speaking, such a computer can serve as a pen and paper – enables them to read, write and communicate with the rest of the world. These tasks seem natural to `healthy' people, however they are denied to visually impaired.

Our solution does not bring an easy and comfortable way. We want to help those, who are attracted by investigation and opportunity for self-improvement. The compensation for this help is not to be money. It is the diligence and effort of those, who receive it.
